This week's Member of the Week is presented to Harlow's Pub in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Being newer members to the chamber as of this year, we want to show our appreciation for the business they have been providing the community over the years. With the recent pandemic, the number of live performances they are well known for has been limited. But the warm and homey atmosphere the building shares never fades away. During the month of July, Harlow's welcomed the crew members of Keene State College Alumni and current students to help produce a full length film “No Such Thing”. Current owner of the establishment, Dave Szehi, welcomed the film crew with open arms and support as he let the team use the facilities. The film crew spent three days in July filming, and working for hours under the supervision of Dave, while he played a small role in the production as well. The film will be released spring 2022. Congratulations Harlow's Pub for your continuous support for the community!

The Chamber Member of the Week is presented to The Park Theatre! After years of planning and construction, the theatre opened their new location on August 5th at 19 Main Street in Jaffrey, NH- drawing people from across the Monadnock region and Northern Massachusetts. The theatre itself is a 15,100 square foot building with a 365 seat auditorium and stage area.
The completion of the Park Theatre has brought the original vision of providing a regional performing arts establishment and gathering place to life.
As quoted from the organization's website:
“The Theatre will be rebuilt as a sustainable, state-of-the-art film and performing arts center, featuring two auditoriums and presenting movies, live theatre, including children’s productions, concerts, live acts, lectures and symposiums as well as a venue for community and business gatherings for the Monadnock Region and its 100,000 residents, school districts and dynamic artistic community.”

The Chamber Member of the Week is presented to Yahso Jamaican Grille Owned and operated by talented Jamaican chefs, this business offers a wide variety of cuisine adapted from Irish, African, Indian, British, French, Spanish, and Chinese influences. Yahso, meaning “right here,” makes you feel a sense of place and belonging the second you step through the door. Since they opened in Keene back in May of 2019, Yahso has been a voice and an advocate for Caribbean culture and black history. Over the summer, they have held numerous live Reggae and local music performances in their restaurant, bringing together a wide variety of people and fostering an atmosphere of inclusion. Yahso recently celebrated Jamaica's Independence day on August 6th with live music, giveaways, food tasting, and of course... celebrating with the country's flag colors of black, green, and gold! The Chamber recognizes their tremendous efforts to highlight Jamaican culture, and for letting us indulge in their delicious food! Congratulations, Yahso Jamaican Grille!

GKPC is excited to highlight our first member of the week, Frogg Brewing! Located in Marlborough, NH, Frogg Brewing has been recognized for their charitable actions and dedication to the community. On July 24th, they teamed up with Cousins Maine Lobster, Fabrics by Finn, Fine Swine BBQ, and Quincy Lord Music to hold the “Barks and Brews” fundraiser for Sato Heart Rescue, a non-profit run exclusively by volunteers.
