The Montessori Schoolhouse provides a preschool education based on Montessori teaching methods to approximately 50 area children.
Curriculum includes introduction to art and music, a weekly dance & movement program, and area fieldtrips as well. Children may attend 3 to 5 days a week and they offer a morning toddler program (ages 18 mos.-3yrs); a morning preschool program (ages 2.8 thru 5 yrs.); and an Extended-Day Montessori program (generally ages 4+). Precare from 7:15am and aftercare options until 5:15pm are also available. They follow a traditional school calendar with daycare offered during vacation breaks, and a summer camp program. |
