While we often hear about the negative impacts of globalization, the opening of international markets has also created many opportunities for businesses and the domestic economy within New Hampshire.

Since 2002, New Hampshire's exporting of commodities has steadily increased in the typical markets of Canada, China, Germany, Great Britain and Mexico. However, more than half of this overall growth since 2002 has occurred in countries and markets that are less than typical such as Australia, Thailand and Turkey.
